It’s been a while since I’ve posted an article…So here we go to play some “catch-up” 🙂
This post is directed towards dental work. There’s so much information to share! I can only share with you what I have experienced, and what I have learned throughout my course and time in this this field of specialty.
There are many factors that contribute to healthy dental work, and many factors that contribute to poor dental work.
The unfortunate fact is that most of the time… we’re undergoing poor dental work, which can contribute to long term damage. Continue reading
Eating foods with flavors & aromas go much farther than just tasting good.
There’s a critical element that so many of us have not even considered when it comes to shaking spices out of their plastic or glass containers.
These herbs and spices, when in their original form, straight from the dirt, unaltered, processed, or mass produced, offer unfathomable restoration to the human body.
Herbs, roots, and spices have properties that range from anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, & natural chelation, with full cellular and microbial support for the entire human body.
If you’re a lover of trail mix, this’ll be one that you’ll want to incorporate in your life! Deliciously savory, crunchy, & subtly sweet to perfection! The best part? You don’t need much of it to nourish the body to satisfy your craving for a savory and sweet snack. Also, a perfect handful is an excellent pre-workout snack! Are you ready to slow down your aging process through food?
For people that ask me if I’m vegan, vegetarian, or paleo, I honestly say neither. I personally don’t choose to associate myself with any type of dietary label, and I’d like to keep it that way. I choose to eat for the sake of my health, and advocate this for my clients as well. I believe that with proper education, we can make healthier choices that fit our lifestyles!
What does eating for health look like or involve? In my experience (including my clients), eating organic whole foods in a fermented and oil free form has been a great success thus far, and there’s research to go along with it! Continue reading

I had intended on using the traditional lemon, cayenne pepper, maple syrup cleanse (replacing the maple syrup with raw honey), but came to the conclusion that I’d welcome other fresh flavors 🙂 Continue reading
The weekend has arrived!
This will be a post that is out of usual pattern, but I’m excited to share this large piece of the world of my recipe creation 🙂
Almost 8 months ago, I chose to make an investment in my health.
In my vision of health, it all begins with the food. There is so much truth in the statement, “you are what you eat!” The beauty of this, is that it not only begins with what you eat, but also what you DRINK.
I’ve spent the past 7 years purchasing organic produce, making smoothies, evaluating ingredients. Three out of the 7 years have been spent making 85% of the foods I consume, simply because the quality of food available to us is just not good enough!
Gratefully, we have an option to choose the quality of our foods, including the water we drink. Continue reading
For the past three years I’ve been making my own fermented foods at home. I fell in love with fermented foods the first moment I tasted a homemade batch of fermented sunflower seed spread, almost as if it were a love affair! From that moment on, I began preparing ferments at home. There’s a beautiful sense of fulfillment that continuously grows when preparing fermented foods in your own environment! Especially when you notice you’re reaping the benefits 🙂 However, I’ve learned that there are many moments where it seems like the time is not available to prep! Continue reading
